Chapter 1 What's it like being dead, Gerard? Frank liked cemeteries. He liked the fact that he could walk through the rust iron gates and instantly feel at peace. The stupid bullies wouldn’t follow him here. It would take him ten minutes to get to the furthest part of the cemetery and speak to his only friends, the dead. Frank always preferred talking to the dead about his problems because always they listened and never judged .Their supposedly pale faces never contorted into the disgust and anger of his parents when he told them he was gay.
